just an update on my long wkend..
i went tent pitching with my family at ECP in thurs night
stayed dere till saturday.
enjoyed the beach, the waves, the morning sun, EVERYTHING.
played mahjong, rollarbladed blah blah blah.
sis had to leave on friday night to be with xh.
idiot sis.dont wan acc me.sobs.
terry wasnt feeling well, vomited due to excess consumption of soya milk -.-

my sunday.
walked to girl's house to pass her baby's clothing
trained to bugis to meet kelvin..
pei-ed him have his brunch, went to his work place at iLuma.
damn nice la the mall
may be wait till more shops are opened before i go again.

din go to aunt's house today.the kids & herself are not feeling tat well
went home, stoned infront of the tv till 5pm, went to sleep till 8pm.
i've been eating none stop since.not really tat humgry. just wanted something in my mouth.

oh.nyp sent a msg to my phone.
i've got to be screened when i enter the school premises tmr
thanks to this swine flu. well, better to be safe than to be sorry.
checked the email on the sch webpage, i did as i was told.
here's what i've got:

Dear NYP Students,

Update on Influenza A (H1N1).

As a safeguard to staff and students, NYP will be instituting the following measures with effect from 4 May 2009:

1. NYP will be implementing temperature taking for all personnel on campus with effect from Monday, 4 May 2009.

2. All students are required to go to the Temperature Assessment Centre (TAC) for thermo-screening upon arriving at NYP campus. The TAC is located at the Auditorium Lobby and Function Room, Block A, and will be open from 7.30am to 7.00pm on weekdays.

3. Each student who has cleared the TAC screening will be issued a sticker that will be valid for only half a day, i.e. AM or PM. The AM sticker is valid from 7.30am to 2.00pm while the PM sticker is from 11.30am to 7.00pm. If your temperature reading is normal, you will be issued with either an AM or PM sticker. Immediately after that, you will have to flash your student card on card reader to have your particulars captured in our system.

4. A student staying on campus for the entire day will need to be screened at the TAC twice, that is, the first one in the morning from 7.30am onwards and the second one from 11.30am onwards. You are advised to consult your lecturers for any further clarifications needed pertaining to this temperature taking regime at NYP.

5. You are hereby advised on the following:

a. Temperature taking at TAC will be made compulsory from Tuesday, 5 May 2009 onwards.
b. Please wear your lanyard and student card at all times on campus.
c. It is compulsory to wear valid stickers at all times whenever you are on campus.

6. Students who have returned from affected countries within the last seven days, or have been in contact with any person, who has returned from the affected countries, are advised to stay at home and notify your personal mentors as soon as possible.

alrighs here's something else
we can change our ezlink card too..
hmmm..last year in nyp, yet we still have to change it?
well, we still can use it for another year after we graduate.
so here's it:
Dear Students,

The Land Transport Authority¿s (LTA) next-generation e-payment system for public transit, Symphony for e-Payment (SeP), was launched in late December 2009. The new system which is built on the Singapore Standard for Contactless ePurse Application (CEPAS), allows any smart card that complies with the standard to be used with the system and in a wide variety of payment applications.

With the launch of SeP, new CEPAS-compliant cards will be needed for public transport.

Please be informed that TransitLink will be conducting a Mass Replacement Exercise (MRE) of your current ez-link card from Mon, 11 to Fri, 15 May 2009 at Blk E, Level 3, Room E.308, from 9am to 6pm.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1) Please bring your current ez-link card.
2) For those who have lost their ez-link card and did not make a new one, you may still collect the replacement card with your ID (IC for S'poreans or FIN card for International students). However, you would still be required to pay the replacement fee of $18 to activate it (you will be advised by the TransitLink officers as to where to go for this when you collect the replacement card at E.308 during the MRE).
3) For those who have lost their card and have recently replaced it with a CEPAS-compliant one, you need not participate in this exercise.
4) During the MRE, TransitLink will also transfer the balance in your current ez-link card (if any) to the new one.
5) Cards that are not collected during the MRE will be sent back to TransitLink.

Please note that there may be periods (e.g. during lunch time) when the queues/waiting time will be longer. Hence we would advise students to avoid these times if possible and be patient.
